Cycling in Tenerife might prove to be just as rewarding as other less conventional means of exploring the island, such as horse riding or trekking. By riding a bike, tourists have the opportunity of contemplating nature and keep fit at the same time. It’s true not all areas are opened to cycling. Thus, in the Teide National Park cycling is in allowed, but Corona Forestal, the forested belt around the park, is a genuine invitation no passionate biker should decline. Plenty other tracks are available in Tenerife, and the centers offering guided tours often rely on this huge inner asset of the island.
