The Museum of Vine and Wine, also referred to as La Baranda, is sheltered by an old farm in north Tenerife. The building dates back to the 17th century, and it is managed by the Government of Tenerife in view of promoting the quality wines produced on the island. Thus, visitors have the opportunity of sampling wines coming from the five wine regions in Tenerife in the tasting room, and, if convinced, they can subsequently buy them from the traditional gift shops. At the same time, visitors can also enjoy a comprehensive program of cultural activities, such as: conferences, concerts, wine tasting courses and exhibitions.
