La Baranda is also home to the so-called Casa de la Miel (the House of Honey). This center offers to all visitors interested in this field the opportunity to admire exhibitions on the history of honey production in Tenerife, and informs them on the technological processes implied by this activity. In addition, tourists have the opportunity of sampling various types of honey.
